Thanks for stopping by. Let’s see . . . what might you want to know about me? I blog about a variety of things, but usually it’s on topics related to Christianity, leadership, and culture. I’ve been married for over 15 years to Michelle. She truly is an amazing part of my life. I also have two incredible kids, a son and a daughter, who know how to turn even the most boring of days into an adventure.

I am a big believer in higher education. I hold a Doctor of Educational Ministry, a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Counseling, a Master of Arts in Religious Education, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. My deepest passion is seeing people better know God. I’m a committed follower of Christ who seeks to lead as a servant, by example. I truly believe that one person CAN make a difference in life!

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing piano, writing, photography, and select sports — especially the Ole Miss Rebels. I’m also a very patriotic American with strong conservative values. I’ve actually been fascinated with news and politics since I was just a kid. I definitely consider myself an activist of sorts, keeping in frequent contact with elected officials.

GarrickDConner.com is my personal writing and communications ministry. Through this online forum, I hope to educate, encourage, inform, and inspire people from different walks of life, bringing them together in a Christ-centered virtual community.
