Garrick D. Conner, LPC-S, LMFT-S, CSAT, CMAT

Much of who I am as a therapist has been shaped by people who have invested in my professional development along the way. That’s one reason I believe it’s important to give back to the community and the field.

Arkansas Board of Examiners in Counseling and Marriage & Family Therapy

I was appointed by Governor Sanders to serve on the Arkansas counseling board, where I have the privilege of working to move the field forward by reviewing applicant files, conducting interviews, participating in administrative hearings, shaping legislation, serving as an advocate for the profession, and most importantly, protecting the public.

Arkansas Christian Counselors & Therapists Board

I count it a pleasure to serve with a number of esteemed colleagues to represent Christian counselors and therapists in Arkansas by planning and presenting the annual conference each October. This organization honors the memory of one of my own friends and colleagues, Dr. Barry Wingfield, who modeled humility, service, and lifelong learning.

Sex Addiction Support Group

Since 2024, I have led a weekly online drop-in support group for men who struggle with compulsive sexual behaviors. This group is sponsored by Seeking Integrity in Los Angeles. Every Sunday evening at 9:00 p.m., I have the opportunity to facilitate discussion for a psychoeducational group designed to help men make connections with other men, while practicing skills such as honesty, vulnerability, empathy, and accountability. The group typically has between 30 and 40 participants and has become one of my favorite times of the week. Contact me for more information.

Supervision Services

Difference-makers intentionally invest in the next generation. I am pleased to serve as a Board-approved supervisor for LACs and LAMFTs in Arkansas. I believe supervision should be meaningful, practical, accessible, and fun! If you are interested in learning more about my approach to supervision, please reach out to schedule a time to connect.
