Public Speaking
I enjoy speaking for social/civic clubs, church gatherings, and retirement communities on topics related to spiritual growth and mental/emotional health. Topics of particular interest include: anxiety, depression, grief and loss, parenting, marriage enrichment, sex addiction and recovery, spiritual abuse, church hurt, and suicide awareness and prevention. I also do custom seminars and workshops, depending on your needs.
Freelance Writing
As a former journalism enthusiast (that was my first love), I welcome opportunities to write for various publications, including newspapers, magazines, and online platforms. You can sample some of my work here.
Consulting
I’m passionate about helping pastors and churches become intentional about their role in meeting the mental health needs of their communities. As a pastor for nearly 30 years, I helped lead mental health seminars and workshops on topics such as anxiety, depression, Alzheimer’s disease, caregiver fatigue, the opioid crisis, eating disorders, sex addiction, and suicide awareness and prevention. I welcome the opportunity to come alongside pastors who are serious about meeting real needs in their congregation and community.
Likewise, I believe that many workplaces in America are becoming increasingly hostile and toxic. I cherish opportunities to talk with bosses and CEOs about how to meaningfully engage and care for employees, thereby increasing workplace morale as well as productivity. I’m available for private consultations and professional development workshops.
Clinical Supervision
Difference-makers intentionally invest in the next generation. I am pleased to serve as a Board-approved supervisor for LACs and LAMFTs in Arkansas. I believe supervision should be meaningful, practical, accessible, and fun! If you are interested in learning more about my approach to supervision, I’d love to hear from you.
